This character shows a few techniques that I have mastered, including shading and metallics.

This picture gives you an idea of what the model looks like.  Keep in mind that these models are no bigger than the size of your thumb, so a steady hand and good eyes are a must. Note the general use of all colours, yet they are still unified by the reds and golds.

This is a close-up of the rock he stands on, with his arm and claw over top.  The gritty effect that is present on many of these models took a long time to perfect.  the claw in particular is a detailed piece, showing that even the least textured pieces are still brought into focus.

This is an example of the gritty feel that I can give certain textures, especially metals.  The armour trim has been picked out specifically to unite the model's colour.

Lastly, the spears jutting from this character's back are picked out in the same gritty texture, however, it is more of a rusty steel.  The alien skull in the picture stands out on the model, as the chitin is a purple, complimenting the golds from the model.  This is another example of how most colours are used in this model, despite the red and gold themes.
