This is one of the best pieces that I have painted thus far.  It combines several techniques, from weathered metals to painted emotions.

This model is one of the best for showing the weathered gold effect that I have been working on.  It also shows drybrushing for the metal 'helmet' that has been painted black.  I enjoy applying as much detail as I can, as I feel that those details are what makes an art piece special.

I use many different techniques when painting, and usually all the colours I own are used in the painting of a single, detailed model.  This shot shows several colours, all complimenting each other, so as to convey the complexity inherent within each model.

This skeleton is mounted on the back of the model, and has several scripts hanging behind it.  It also has a shield mounted behind it, to tie it in with the rest of the model.  Another example of the detail that I put into the model.

More scripts that are hanging off of the Dreadnought, this shows the scale of the model.  The writing on the scripts was created using my finest brush, yet still, at this magnification, it seems somewhat thick.  The skulls contribute to the gothic feel of the model.

This shot shows many colour themes across the model.  The nice thing about using black as a primary colour is the fact that all the detailing work stands out much more.  If the base colour were to change, the amount of colours would overwhelm the eye, and look garish.

This is my favorite picture, as it seems as though the dreadnought is moving.  It shows an unflinching emotion through its helmet, and seems to be reaching out with its one arm.
