This model is the smallest one, But some of my best blending and detailing are present on its surface.

This model is about the size of a loonie, from head to base.  that being said, I am very proud of how it turned out.  The colour scheme is a basic beige/purple that belies almost a royal aura, and the helmet it carries is matched with a green/orange.

I especially like te way that the shadows play across this model, as it has no true 'face'.  This shot really shows this idea off, and gives the viewer a sense of what I see when I am designing the model in my mind.

The Helmet in particular was an interesting challenge, as it was almost as large as the rest of the model.  This had the possible side effect of dwarking the model, and taking the focus off of the helmet bearer.  With this in mind, I painted with a contained colour scheme, and stayed away from many of my usual techniques, such as the triangle theory.

I felt that that, as the wings were symbolic, I could afford to make them prettier than the rest of the model.  I usually stay away from this, as it seems to detract from the rest of my pieces, however, it fits in quite well here.

This photo almost appears as a painting in some areas.  The reason for this is the blending that has been done all over the models body, contributing to a uniform look.
